Check, Check, Check It Out!

What's up guys!
Well, we are all back from vegas and do we have some news for you.
As you all know, Ollie Pop was a proud sponser of the POW charity poker tounament that took place at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, NV this past Tuesday night. You will all be happy to know that it went really well and everyone had a great time. To give you some more accurate info on what was the exact outcome, here is an excerpt from the press release:
Las Vegas, NV - January 29, 2009 – Never Summer Industries VP of Sales, Sean MacAllister cleared out the final table to take home the grand prize in winning the Ollie Pop POW Charity Poker tournament sponsored by Full Tilt Poker and held on Tuesday night at the Vegas Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. POW founder Jeremy Jones accepted the check for $10,000 from Full Tilt Poker, Ollie Pop, Vegas Transworld Snowboarding and the Vegas Hard Rock Hotel and Casino at Transworld Snowboarding’s 10th Annual Rider Poll Awards.
At the event MacAllister bested a final table that included Protect Our Winters founder Jeremy Jones, Benji Ritchie, Dave Duncan, Summer Zemel, and the “Impossible Read” Marius Otterstad. MacAllister overpowered second place finisher Shana Price on the final hand with Kings up over Fours to win over $3000 in cash and prizes, including an option to play in a 2009 World Series of Poker event.
So there you have it, give it up to the man Sean MacAllister for taking the cake all in the good name of protecting our winters!
We also have some new shops with POP! Envy skateshop in Atwater, CA just bought a case. So if you are in the area, stop by and get some pop and tell Darlene that we sent you.
Also, Erik at Pulse skateshop in Goodyear, AZ just made an order as well. So if you live in the area, now you can get your fresh supply of pop every day! And last but definitely not least is our good friend Joann at Rascals skate, surf and snow shop. She just restocked her supply of Ollie Pop, so if you live in Ellicot City, MD make sure you get over there and check out her shop, and while your at it, get some pop! (that was a pretty weak rhyme)
This week we have a new spot that you have to check out. In Oceanside, CA they have recently built a new skatepark off Mesa over by Martin Luther King Jr. middle school. It's a really fun, all concrete park, so if you haven't skated it yet, get over there and change that!
And remember to let us know if your local skateshop doesn't carry Ollie Pop. Just give us their name and a basic location and we will give them a call. Because no shop should be caught without their pop. Thanks guys!
Alright, now that you have all of your vital Ollie Pop news, be sure to check back next week for some more Grind Some. Now, get off of your computer and GO SKATE!
