It's Good To Be Back!

Hey everyone!
Well, it's great to be back in the office and back to the normal routine of life. We had a great time out at ASR this past week and if you were there, then you understand why. Volcom decided to have a regular hoe-down! They went all out, fully equipped with a four piece band including banjo's, stand up bass, guitars and even a few pots and pans just to add that final touch. We were lucky enough to be right next to the "Photon Boards" booth and it was definitely a good time hanging out with those guys. We had plenty of winners at the gumball machine, we gave away shirts, bandannas, gum and even our own custom Ollie Pop skateboard decks! I gotta say, some of those kids would not give up. They were pumping quarters into that thing like there was no tomorrow! And that's what we like to see, that's the Ollie Pop spirit!
Anyways, we got a lot of people that want to carry some Pop in their stores so make sure you check back in for next week's blog to find out which one's will have it. Grind For Life had a High Ollie contest upstairs in the chill zone. This time, Luis Tolentino took the win with a whopping 42 inch high ollie. Now that's some pop! He had a little help from our good ol' pal Kareem Cambell who was on the stage cheering him on. Our good friends Paige and Rachel came out to support the cause and rep the pop for a couple days, so we want to say thank you to them. Other than that, we talked a lot of business, had a lot of fun and are looking forward to the next show and hope to see you there too!
As you are reading this, Ollie Pop is out in Vegas for the Charity poker tournament. The tournament is being held tonight at 6:00 pm. It is at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and everyone is welcome to come watch and show your support. All the proceeds from the tournament will be going to benefit the Protect Our Winters orginization. So, if you just happen to be in Vegas tonight, make sure you go check it out and you are promised to have a great time.
To find out more about Protect Our Winters, visit their website at http://protectourwinters.org/.
Well, that's about it for now. Make sure you let us know if your local skate shop doesn't have Ollie Pop. Just give us the name of the shop and a basic location and we will give them a call.
And don't forget to stop by next week for more of your vital Grind Some news!
Now, GO SKATE!!!
